Established in 2005, the Connally High School Orchestra has grown in numbers, talent and impact. From New York City, to Los Angelas all the way to Orlando and back again, the orchestra has maintained a level of professionalism and excellence that parallels the family camaraderie that has been cultivated within the program.

When we're not sawing away at our instruments, we like to read together, talk life and write our own arrangements of our favorite songs.

Who is Ms. Mejia?

"It's not that I condone fascism or any 'ism' for that matter. Ism's, in my opinion, are not good. A person should not believe in an 'ism,' he should believe in himself. I quote John Lennon 'I don't believe in Beatles. I just believe in me.' A good point there. After all, he was the walrus. I could be the walrus."
